What a month July was for Solar Shop Australia. We opened a number of new retail stores across Australia, from Bunbury in WA to Caringbah in South Sydney. This is all part of our desire to be closer to people wanting to understand more about solar. Solar Shop now offers a number of different ways for customers to connect with us, online, on the phone, in their home, or at one of our retail showrooms.

ATRAA2010 - The Solar Industry's National Conference
Earlier this month, Solar Shop Australia's National Sales Manager, Paul Arthur, and South Australian Branch General Manager, Lawry Sancilio, headed to Alice Springs for ATRAA2010, the solar energy industry's national conference. ATRAA stands for the Appropriate Technology Retailers Association of Australia and has been operating for 33 years. ATRAA delivers the biggest solar industry event in Australia, attracting a range of delegates, from business leaders, suppliers and installers, to students, trainers, teachers and manufacturers, both locally and globally. This was part of Planet Ark’s annual awareness event, National Tree Day. Sustainable House Day - Sunday September 12th, 2010
Sustainable House Day is just a month away (Sunday, 12 September). More than 150 homes will open to the public between 10am and 2pm to showcase their sustainable living practices. The day will show people that being sustainable is not just good for the environment, but it isn't expensive and you can actually save a whole lot of money.
