Was Earth Hour 2010 a success?

With a record of more than 4,300 cities in 126 countries taking part, Earth Hour 2010 proved that what was a small idea four years ago can change attitudes and build awareness across the globe today.

As the CEO of WWF-Australia said, “People all over the planet have again shown that the spirit of Earth Hour comes from millions of small actions that we can all take as one.”
